Man found shot to death at North Charleston store

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Police in North Charleston are investigating the shooting death of a man found in a liquor store.

The body of 39-year-old Matthew Renken of Charleston was found in the office area of the store around 8 a.m. Monday.

Police spokesman Spencer Pryor said the death is being treated as suspicious. Pryor did not release any other details about the death

Deputy Coroner Kimberly Rhoton said Renken died of a single gunshot wound.
