Automotive company expanding in Greenville County
PIEDMONT, S.C. (AP) — An automotive parts manufacturer is hoping to create 80 new jobs as part of an expansion in Greenville County.
Officials with JTEKT Automotive South Carolina Inc. said Tuesday the company plans to invest $102 million over the next two years. The company says it will build a new building near its existing facility in Piedmont.
Hiring for the new jobs begins in October. The Japan-based JTEKT also operates facilities in Blythewood, Greenville, Orangeburg and Walhalla.
