USC’s McKissick Museum hosts party of edible flora
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The University of South Carolina’s McKissick Museum is holding its fifth annual garden party and including a lesson in healthy eating.
University spokeswoman Frenche Brewer says Sunday’s party is being held just off the university’s historic Horseshoe in a garden behind the President’s House.
University horticulturalist Charlie Ryan is discussing combinations of edible flora along with Patricia Moore-Pastides. The wife of the university president has written a cookbook on healthy eating.
The event is being held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
