Mother’s Day Gifts

(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C. — It’s seems there is no amount too high to shell out when it comes to making your mother happy. Several people we spoke with say it’s the one day they can show spoil their mother and show her how much they appreciate her years of hard work. The retail consumer federation says consumers are spending 12 dollars more this year, then last and estimate a total of 18.6 billion on some of the biggest trends of the season. Retailers say they expect to see everything from jewelry and make up to fragrances, candy and even pajamas flying off the shelves by weeks end. Most of the people we spoke with however, say it’s the thought that counts, not the amount of money you spend on a gift. Which means you don’t have to dig deeper into your pockets, just think bigger with your heart.
