Pulitzer-winning author talks on cancer history
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The winner of the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for nonfiction writing is speaking at the University of South Carolina.
Siddhartha Mukherjee is scheduled to speak on Thursday at Gambrell Hall. He wrote “the Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer.”
The talk is supported as the Townsend Lecture Series and is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public.
