7 graduate from American College of Building Arts

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — The American College of Building Arts is conferring degrees on seven graduates this weekend.

The ceremonies are being held on Saturday at Washington Park near the Four Corners of Law in the heart of Charleston’s historic district.

The graduates are receiving degrees of applied science in the building arts. They have completed studies in various areas including masonry, plaster work, timber framing and ornamental ironwork.

The American College of Building Arts in Charleston is the only liberal arts college in the nation that trains artisans in traditional building arts.
