2 people die on Interstate 20 near Lexington
LEXINGTON, S.C. (AP) — Two people have died in a wreck on Interstate 20 in Lexington County.
Officials say a Columbia woman and her son died in the wreck shortly before 11 a.m. Sunday near Lexington.
Coroner Harry Harmon identified the victims as 42-year-old Tanya Dash and 25-year-old Tony Hill.
Officials say the driver of the sports utility vehicle lost control and it ran off the road, hit a median cable barrier and overturned. Both of them were thrown from the vehicle.
