Man killed by train in Williamsburg County

LANE, S.C. (AP) — A Williamsburg County man has died after he was hit by a train.

SCNow.com reported (http://bit.ly/JbVmG7) the accident happened Sunday afternoon near the intersection of a street and railroad tracks in the Williamsburg County town of Lane.

The Williamsburg County coroner’s office says the victim was 46-year-old Kelvin Dozier of Lane.

There was no immediate word on the details of the accident. The investigation is continuing.
