Beaufort man shot to death in Aiken apartment

AIKEN, S.C. (AP) — Investigators say a Beaufort man has been shot to death in an apartment in Aiken.

Authorities have not determined a motive or suspects in the killing of 24-year-old William Holmes Jr. around 2 a.m. Monday.

Aiken police say a second man was wounded and taken to the hospital.

The State Law Enforcement Division is helping Aiken Public Safety investigate the shootings.
