SC Botanical Garden to celebrate plant diversity
CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — The South Carolina Botanical Garden is celebrating South Carolina’s ecological diversity and unique plant life.
“Moonlight and Magnolias: A Garden Gala” is scheduled for Saturday at the garden at Clemson University.
Garden officials say the evening includes a silent auction to benefit the National Heritage Garden. There is also live entertainment, dinner and a chance to learn about new projects at the garden.
The S.C. Botanical Garden encompasses 295 acres of display gardens, nature trails, woodlands and streams, and is open year-round from dawn to dusk, free of charge.
