Lowcountry event features commander of Third Army
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Business leaders in the South Carolina Lowcountry are pausing to honor those who served in the military with a ceremony in North Charleston.
A Salute to the Military event is scheduled for Wednesday. Lt. Gen. Vincent K. Brooks, the commander of the Third Army-US Army Central, is the featured speaker.
Local active duty, reserve and civilian military workers are to be recognized, and a local business is also being cited for its support of the military.
