Man charged in shooting that killed Hamer woman
DILLON, S.C. (AP) — Investigators say a man wanted for shooting into a Dillon County home, killing a woman and injuring two others, has turned himself in.
Deputies said 25-year-old Jordan Turbeville was taken into custody Sunday. He is charged with murder and two counts of attempted murder.
Authorities say 60-year-old Annie Manning was killed inside her home on May 21 by a man who walked up to the outside and began shooting. Her husband and another man were wounded.
Investigators say Turbeville turned himself in after finding out warrants were out for his arrest. He is being held without bail and it wasn’t clear if he had a lawyer.
