SC’s Scott sponsors forum on revitalizing America

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — South Carolina Rep. Tim Scott is sponsoring a forum in Washington on revitalizing the nation’s economy.

Several South Carolinians are participating in the Encouraging Entrepreneurship Conference scheduled for Thursday at the Capitol.

The idea is to get business leaders and others together to exchange ideas on how to revitalize the economy.

Participants include Chad Walldorf of the South Carolina Board of Economic Advisers and Catherine Heigel of Duke Energy.

U.S. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor and House Ways and Means Chairman Dave Camp are also participating.
