Bikers to raise money for Ronald McDonald House
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Motorcycle enthusiasts are revving their engines for a good cause in Columbia this weekend.
The 11th Annual RIDN 4 RNLD Motorcycle Charity Ride is taking place Saturday. More than 100 riders are expected to travel more than 70 miles in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia.
The day wraps up with a celebration at Thunder Tower Harley-Davidson.
Organizers say more than 350 families each year are served by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia.
Ronald McDonald House programs provide a home-away-from-home for families to stay close by their hospitalized child at little or no cost. McDonald’s is the charity’s largest corporate donor.
