Fans See USC Baseball Team Off to Omaha

Columbia, SC (WOLO)– Fans gathered at Carolina Stadium Wednesday afternoon to send the USC Baseball team to Omaha in style. Coach Ray Tanner and Pitcher Michael Roth spoke to the crowd saying the sendoff was the best in the nation. The team then boarded a bus to Eagle Aviation where they boarded their flight to Omaha and the College World Series. In their first game, the 2-time defending national champion Gamecocks will take on number one seed Florida in a rematch of last year’s championship series. That game takes place Saturday night at 9pm and can be seen on ESPN.
