Presbyterian picks Clemson dean as new president
CLINTON, S.C. (AP) — A Clemson University dean has been selected as the next president of Presbyterian College.
Presbyterian’s board of trustees on Friday picked Claude C. Lilly as the next person to lead the Clinton school.
Lilly is currently dean of Clemson’s College of Business and Behavioral Science. He has nearly four decades of teaching and administrative experience at schools including Clemson, the University of South California and Florida State University. He has been dean at Clemson since 2007 and helped relocate some of the school’s business programs to downtown Greenville.
Lilly takes over for current Presbyterian president John Griffith on July 15.
