Clemson’s Narcisse picked by Harlem Globetrotters

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Clemson forward Bryan Narcisse is heading to training camp with the Harlem Globetrotters.

Narcisse played in 102 games for the Tigers the past four seasons and helped the team to NCAA tournament appearances in 2009, 2010 and 2011. He found out Tuesday that he had been picked by the Globetrotters.

Narcisse will have the chance to make the roster for the famed “Clown Princes of Basketball” at their training camp this fall. He said he was excited by the Globetrotters’ interest and appreciates the positive message the team makes through basketball.

Globetrotters director of player personnel Sweet Lou Dunbar said the team looks for athletes of all kinds that it thinks will makes its team better.
