Man gets 27 years in Chester club shooting

CHESTER, S.C. (AP) — A man has been sentenced to 27 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the shooting death of a man at a Chester nightclub nearly two years ago.

The Herald of Rock Hill reported (http://bit.ly/KAZ6zK ) 24-year-old Keith Kenner entered the plea Monday in Chester. Keener originally was charged with murder.

Police say Kenner fired into a crowd at a nightclub in Chester on Sept. 20, 2010, killing 24-year-old Antonio Price and injuring two others.

A second shooting occurred a short time later at the Chester Regional Medical Center as victims from the nightclub shooting arrived.

Twenty-one-year-old William Graham is charged with murder in the death of 20-year-old Derek Chalk, who was shot outside the hospital emergency room. Graham is awaiting trial.
