Police make arrest in fatal Anderson shooting

ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) — Investigators say they have arrested the 24-year-old man who they say shot and killed another man after an argument at an Anderson home.

Police said Jamal Brown was taken into custody shortly after the shooting Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities say Brown shot 21-year-old Kameron Morris in the chest at a home where Morris was staying with friends.

Investigators released little information about the shooting, including what the men might have been arguing about.

Brown is charged with murder and is being held in the Anderson County jail. It wasn’t clear if he had an attorney.
