14 wildfires reported in 1 day in Greenville

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — Greenville County deputies say firefighters responded to 14 bush fires in just 24 hours.

The fires were all reported Wednesday, and investigators are trying to figure out if they were intentionally set. They also say other fires may have been reported during the same time period in other agencies.

Forecasters say the hot, dry weather moving into the Upstate over the weekend will increase the wildfire danger across the region.
