Man shot to death in Iva, witnesses run away

IVA, S.C. (AP) — Anderson County deputies think several people watched a man get killed, but they ran away before officers could question them.

Authorities said 27-year-old Nathan Robinson was shot several times around 2:15 a.m. Thursday at a building behind a baseball field in Iva where people frequently hang out late at night.

Deputies say a large number of people we in and around the building when the shooting happened, but most of them ran away, leaving investigators with few witnesses.
