Bear Spotted in Camden Returned to Wilderness

Camden, SC (WOLO)– A black bear is back in the woods after taking a stroll through downtown Camden. Officials with the Department of Natural Resources say officers were able to tranquilize this black bear just after one Monday morning and transport it to a rural area near Lake Wateree. The bear had been spotted in several Camden neighborhoods over the weekend.
