York Prep School Board Member Faces Porn Charges

ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) – A member of the board for a Rock Hill charter school has been arrested on child pornography charges. York County sheriff’s deputies say 52-year-old Timothy Frank Ruzbacki is charged with 10 counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Deputies say they found photos of children engaging in sexual activity on the computer belonging to the York Preparatory Academy school board member. Sheriff’s spokesman Trent Faris says investigators received reports that Ruzbacki had downloaded child pornography. Ruzbacki faces up to 10 years in prison on each charge if he is convicted. It was not clear if he has an attorney. The school board suspended Ruzbacki indefinitely when it met Tuesday night. He was in his second term on the board and chaired the academic committee.
