71-year-old man found dead in Hanahan

HANAHAN, S.C. (AP) — Hanahan police are investigating the death of a 71-year-old man.

Police were called to the home of Roy Ray Bennett on Sunday afternoon. Police would not say how Bennett died as part of the investigation.

An autopsy was planned Monday.

Bennett’s body was found by a neighbor who noticed Sunday morning that his truck was missing.

Police are looking for his silver 2009 Toyota Tacoma truck with S.C. license plate CBP-692.
