Summer Camp Helps Youth Battle Obesity
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The world‘s most elite athletes will be competing at the 2012 Olympic Games this week. But you don‘t have to be a top athlete to reap the rewards of fitness and health. A summer camp offered through the GoodBodies Program at USC‘s Arnold School of Public Health is helping young people, ages 9 – 17, learn how to make healthy behavior changes, incorporating fitness fun and better nutrition in their lives. A young girl shares how the camp has already made a difference in her life.
