Wofford #10, SC State Gets Votes In FCS Poll
(WOLO) — Wofford is the only FCS team in the state of South Carolina to make the 2012 Sports Network FCS preseason poll. The poll was released Monday. SC State received the 31st-most votes in the poll. After the second of two practices Monday, SCSU Head Football Coach Buddy Pough said, “Well, that‘s not a big concern of ours right now. It‘s not how you start, it‘s how you finish. We will start thinking about (the polls) near the end of the season.” The Bulldogs finished the 2011 season 7-4 and missed out on what would have been a fourth straigth MEAC championship.
