Holbrook Ready To Start Offseason Workouts

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The Gamecocks might have ended the 2012 baseball season less than two months ago, but the preparation for the 2013 season begins this week. New USC Head Baseball Coach Chad Holbrook said Monday he will meet with his team for the first time this week and start individual fall workouts started. Holbrook officially announced Monday the addition of Brian Buscher to round out his first coaching staff. Buscher will be USC’s volunteer assistant coach. Sammy Esposito moves up from that role to USC’s recruiting coordinator. Jerry Meyers remains the Gamecocks’ pitching coach and moves into Holbrook’s role as associate head coach.
