CLEMSON, S.C. (WOLO) — With just eight days remaining until their season opener next week, Clemson held their annual “Beanie Bowl” Friday to begin preparations for Auburn. The annual “Beanie Bowl” is a practice in which coaches and players go over gameday procedures and situations. Head coach Dabo Swinney says it’s a “tedious” day but that there are “a lot of necessary things” the Tigers need to go over before gameday. Clemson returns to the field Saturday, when they hope to have a game plan for Auburn in place. The Tigers will have Sunday off. Kickoff for Clemson and Auburn is set for 7:00pm on September 1st.
