Peake Will Start In Place For Watkins

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Clemson will go with sophomore Charone Peake to start against Auburn in place of suspended star receiver Sammy Watkins. The No. 14 Tigers play at the Georgia Dome on Saturday without All-American Watkins, who was suspended for Clemson’s first two games because of his drug arrest last May. Watkins won’t travel to Atlanta with the team this week. Peake played in all 14 games for Clemson last season, finishing with four catches for 71 yards.
