NASHVILLE, TN (WOLO) — Connor Shaw returned to the field in the 3rd quarter during USC’s season opening win against Vanderbilt. The Gamecocks beat the Commodores 17-13 to win their 13th consecutive season opening game. The Gamecocks quarterback left in the first half after he injured his shoulder. Following tonight’s win, Shaw told the media that he will play in USC’s home opener next week against East Carolina.
