Occupy Protestors Hit Charlotte Ahead of DNC

(WOLO) CHARLOTTE,N.C., — A total of 90 separate groups of protestors who wanted to make sure their message was heard loud and clear took the streets chanting this afternoon. Along with them, hundreds of police officers from across the country. “The spirit of cooperation that we’ve had has done more to keep everything at pace, than our numbers or their numbers” said Chief of police Rodney Monroe. The move allowed protestors to speak their mind while keeping the peace creating a bit of a buzz for bystanders who stopped on sidewalks and streets curious of what was going on. All of the protestors were fighting for different issues, including the state of the planet, and illegal immigration reform.
