COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Steve Spurrier doesn’t agree with the SEC suspending USC safety D.J. Swearinger for this Saturday’s Missouri game, but he says the Gamecocks will accept the penalty and move on. The Head Ball Coach addressed the suspension Tuesday at his weekly press conference, one day after the SEC suspended Swearinger for a helmet-to-helmet hit on UAB wide receiver Patrick Hearn in the third quarter of USC’s 49-6 win last Saturday. “We’re going to live with it,” Spurrier said. “D.J. will be ready next week.”
