CLEMSON, S.C. (WOLO) — Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables said it best at the Tigers’ Tuesday press conference. In response to the Florida State loss, Venables said good football teams have to “learn from it, shelf it, and go on to the next one.” Both he and head coach Dabo Swinney agree the Tigers have great talent, but there is a lack of experience and maturity. “All I know is we won a championship last year, and we hadn’t done that in a long time,” said Swinney. “We’re 3-1 right now, I think we got a decent football team, we’re not a great team, but I do think we have a chance to greatly improve.” The Tigers are on the road for the 2nd straight week. This time, they head to Boston College. Clemson has won the last three of four meetings with the Eagles, but lost in 2010 16-10 in Boston. That year, they failed to score an offensive touchdown. Kickoff Saturday is set for 3:30PM.
