Man Charged with Murder in Myrtle Beach Stabbing

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) _ An Andrews man has been charged with murder in the stabbing of another man outside a Myrtle Beach grocery store. Authorities said 27-year-old Marcus Augusta Hudson was being held at the Horry County jail Monday. It wasn’t known if he had an attorney. Police say they were called to a grocery store at around 12:30 p.m. Saturday for an assault call. Authorities say 37-year-old Willie Ray Dixon of Myrtle Beach had been stabbed in the back. Dixon died at a hospital later Saturday. Hudson was arrested that day on unrelated charges, but murder and weapons possession were added after Dixon’s death.
