Sandusky Sentenced to at Least 30 Years

BELLEFONTE, PA (WOLO) — Convicted pedophile Jerry Sandusky will spend at least the next 30 years behind bars. A Pennsylvania judge sentenced the 68-year-old to at least 30 but no more than 60 years in prison for sexually abusing 10 boys over a 15-year period. He will get credit for time already served since his June conviction on 45 counts of child sex abuse. On Monday Sandusky released an audio statement claiming his innocence and that he had been a victim of the court. The judge said he had heard Sandusky’s statement and that it was unbelievable. The attorneys for Sandusky said they will appeal the conviction.
