Second Arrest Made in McDonald’s Shooting

Columbia, SC (WOLO)– A second suspect is in custody in a deadly shooting at a Midlands McDonald’s. Investigators with the Columbia Police Department say Torance Peoples was arrested Wednesday morning at Days Inn on Parklane Rd. Police say just after 9pm on Saturday, September 15th, Peoples and Terrell Bethel fired shots into a crowd at McDonald’s on Two Notch Rd. Police say three men were hit by bullets, one of which later died. Investigators believe the two men were part of two separate groups that were arguing in the parking lot prior to the shooting.
