Fun Factoid Emerges from Debate

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (CNN) – There was a lot of talking during last night’s presidential debate. But who said more? A CNN librarian dug through the transcript and counted every word from both candidates. That includes every “Ah” all the way to words said twice. She found that President Obama spoke for 3 minutes and 14 seconds longer Mitt Romney, but the former governor had a lot to say. He uttered 7984 words to the President’s 7506. A similar thing happened at the first debate. President Obama spoke five minutes longer, but Romney said 508 more words.
