GAINESVILLE, FL (WOLO) — Steve Spurrier returns to the stadium he helped become famous, and where the Gamecocks clinched their only SEC East division title the last time they played Florida in Gainesville. Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. ET SEC East showdown between #7 South Carolina and #2 Florida will put the winner in the driver’s seat for a spot in the 2012 SEC Championship Game. Both teams feature strong defenses and offenses that rely on a running quarterback. Both Spurrier and Florida coach Will Muschamp admit their teams are similar.
