Columbia hosts free seminar on financial literacy
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Residents of Columbia have an opportunity to learn more about smart spending and saving.
The City of Columbia’s Community Development Department on Saturday is hosting a free program on financial literacy. Organizers say they hope the session will help people understand the hidden costs of buying things on credit.
Senior loan officer Felicia Wilkes says the three-hour program also covers topics including banking, budgeting and what your credit score really means.
