Police: Alleged Victim Filed False Report

Columbia, SC (WOLO)– Columbia Police say Heather Atkins is charged with Filing a False Police Report after she reported being sexually assaulted and robbed at gun point. Investigators say Atkinks reported Sunday that when she was leaving 5 Points Friday morning two black males attacked her behind Harper’s Restaurant on Harden St. After searching for the suspects police say they interviewed Atkins who told police she had fabricated the entire story.
