Voting the Day Before Election Day
Election officials say long lines for absentee voting are a good indicator of what Election Day may actually bring. They urge voters to bring everything necessary for a smooth voting experience. Poll workers in both Richland and Lexington counties say they are prepared for huge crowds. They have added extra staff, are working extended hours and have taken other precautions to prepare for the rush. They strongly encourage registered voters to also be prepared prior to arriving at the polling precinct.
