Motorcycle Fatality Reroutes Traffic

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Columbia Police are investigating a traffic fatality that involved two motorcycles. A police spokeswoman said at approximately 2 a.m., two motorcycles were traveling from Huger Street toward Broad River Road on I-126 when the accident occurred. The Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the cause of the crash, but said there were possibly a total of four people involved in the accident. Some of the individuals were transported to the hospital with injuries, according to police. Traffic from Huger and Elmwood toward the interstate was rerouted.
