Spurrier Says QB Shaw Still Gimpy

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Steve Spurrier says quarterback Connor Shaw has a ways to go to be 100% ready for this Saturday’s home game against Arkansas. At Tuesday’s weekly press conference, Spurrier said Shaw is still gimpy after spraining his foot at the end of the Tennessee game. “He couldn’t run last night,” Spurrier said. “Hopefully by the middle of the week he’ll be full-go.” “I doubt if he could’ve played if we’d had a game last week the way he was gimping around last night.”
