USC Slides To #9, Clemson Up To 11th In BCS

(WOLO) — Not only did Texas A&M’s upset at Alabama over the weekend likely ruin USC football’s chance at a BCS bowl game, it also knocked the Gamecocks down a spot in the latest BCS standings. Despite a convincing 38-20 home win against Arkansas over the weekend Carolina dropped one spot to #9 in the BCS. Clemson moved up two spots to 11th. The Tigers are coming off a 45-10 rout of Maryland. Clemson will host NC State this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. on ABC Columbia. The Gamecocks host Wofford at 1 p.m. on pay-per-view TV. Kansas State is the new #1 team in the BCS. Oregon is 2nd with Notre Dame at #3. Alabama dropped to 4th.
