Clowney 1 of 3 Bednarik Award Finalists

(WOLO) — USC sophomore standout defensive end Jadeveon Clowney is one of three finalists for the Chuck Bednarik Award, given annually to the best defensive player in college football. Georgia linebacker Jarvis Jones and Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o are the other two finalists. Clowney, a Rock Hill native, has 43 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries for the Gamecocks this season.
