Clemson Leads Gamecocks 14-7 After One Quarter

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Clemson used two plays towards the end of the first quarter to take the lead 14-7 over the Gamecocks. Roderick McDowell had a 32 yard run and then DeAndre Hopkins had the ball perfectly placed in his hands by quarterback Tajh Boyd for a 43 yard touchdown reception for the go ahead score. Carolina scored second to tie the game 7-7 as Dylan Thompson found Bruce Ellington in the side of the end zone.
