Man charged in Aiken store parking lot killing

AIKEN, S.C. (AP) _ Authorities say they have charged a 25-year-old man in connection with a shooting death in a car in the parking lot of an Aiken convenience store. Investigators said Thursday that Morris Dorch is charged with murder and attempted murder in the shooting last Saturday. Police say Dorch was arguing with 21-year-old Delance Walton when he shot at him several times. Investigators say Walton died at the scene, but a second person in the car was not hurt. Authorities have not said what the men were arguing about. Dorch remains in the Aiken County jail. It wasn’t known if he had an attorney.
