High School Teacher Charged With Sexual Battery of Student

Columbia, SC (WOLO)– A Midlands High School teacher has been arrested and is facing Sexual Battery Charges. The Teacher is accused of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a student. Columbia Police say Dreher High School English teacher Kinsley Wentzky allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old male student several times at a Columbia home. A judge issued a $5,000 personal recognizance bond in the case. A Spokesperson for Richland School District One says Wentzky has been on administrative leave since January 2nd.
