Local Residents Ready to Take the Plunge

LAKE CAROLINA, S.C. (WOLO) – You may call it crazy because it’s the middle of winter, but others can’t wait to take a dip in Lake Carolina Saturday morning. The 9th annual Polar Bear Plunge will be held at Sunset Park. The first splash is scheduled for 10:30. The event looks to raise money for Children’s Charities of the Midlands.
