Man Accused of Using Machete In Attempted Murder

(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C, — Richland County Sheriff’s say 33 year old Juan Angel Cabora was arrested following an alleged murder attempt. According to authorities two men began fighting just before 2 Saturday morning in the 300 block of Crane Creek drive In Richland County. Officials say the victim, was beaten in the upper body before he managed to run to a nearby room where he barricaded himself. Sheriff’s deputies claim Cabora then grabbed a machete and attempted to hack his way into that locked room. The victim suffered only minor injuries as a result of the incident. Cabora is being held at the Alvin Glen Detention Center.
